Generation 6 heroes

Yang, Triton, and Sophia — the Gen 6 roster, the F2P all-in moment, and what we know about what comes next.

Generation 6 is the current frontier. Three heroes: Yang (Archer), Triton (Infantry), and Sophia (utility/support). Gen 6 heroes have approximately 20% higher base stats than Gen 5. Yang is the F2P standout — he’s the only Gen 6 hero with a direct offensive rally buff in his Expedition skills and is accessible via Hero Roulette. Triton is the strongest Gen 6 hero overall but is effectively Spender-tier. Sophia serves as a counter-pick against high-damage Gen 5 setups.

TL;DR

  • Yang is the F2P all-in moment — if you’ve been saving shards since Gen 4 per the earlier guides, deploy them here
  • Yang is the only Gen 6 hero with a direct rally offensive buff in Expedition — he’s the first Archer that meaningfully upgrades the F2P rally lead over Vivian in terms of kit
  • Sophia via Roulette is a solid secondary target once Yang is established; her counter-utility is real
  • If Vivian is still below 3★, finish her before investing in Yang — Vivian’s damage multiplier still outweighs a fresh Yang at low stars
  • Triton is not a realistic F2P target — redirect any resources you’d spend on him to Yang or Sophia

Investment priority

  1. Yang — your Archer seat upgrade; deploy saved shards here.
  2. Sophia — secondary target after Yang is at 2–3★.
  3. Triton — skip for F2P.

Maintain minimum 5,000 Infantry in absolute troop count.

TL;DR

  • Triton is the best Gen 6 hero and worth pushing to 4★+ for serious rally leaders — his complete frontline kit and ~20% stat premium over Gen 5 make him a clear upgrade
  • Yang replaces Vivian as the Archer rally lead for Spenders willing to invest; his direct rally buff stacks with Vivian’s damage multiplier if you run both
  • Sophia adds counter-pick value in high-level PvP — useful in alliance wars where enemy compositions are known in advance
  • If running both Vivian and Yang, verify which has the stronger first skill for rally-joining scenarios
  • Gen 7 is not yet confirmed in most server timelines — no need to hold shards in reserve beyond what you’d normally keep

Investment priority

  1. Triton — strongest Gen 6 hero; push to 4★+.
  2. Yang — Archer rally upgrade; run alongside or in place of Vivian depending on star levels.
  3. Sophia — counter-pick utility; 2–3★ is sufficient for the role.

Maintain minimum 5,000 Infantry in absolute troop count.

Hero roster

Yang

Class: Archer | Rarity: Mythic | Accessibility: Hero Roulette (F2P achievable)

The F2P flagship of Gen 6. Yang is the only Gen 6 hero with a direct offensive rally buff in his Expedition skills — meaning his value is concentrated in combat marches and rally leadership, the same role Vivian fills but with a different type of contribution. Where Vivian applies a damage amplifier to enemies, Yang’s kit pushes direct offensive output from your squads.

For F2P players who conserved Mythic shards from Gen 4 per the generation-by-generation guide advice, Yang is the target to deploy those resources against.

Key skills:

Triton

Class: Infantry | Rarity: Mythic | Accessibility: Spender-tier (limited Roulette)

The strongest Gen 6 hero by overall kit. Tidewill provides 2 seconds of invulnerability (similar to Alcar’s Glorious Mark but with better stat scaling). Regal Wrath boosts Attack and Defense simultaneously, and Striking Hit adds burst damage against random enemies. His base stats are approximately 20% higher than Long Fei (Gen 5), which compounds significantly at high star levels.

F2P players should skip — the investment required to get Triton to a competitive star level via Roulette is prohibitive relative to what those resources accomplish on Yang.

Key skills:

Sophia

Class: Support/Utility | Rarity: Mythic | Accessibility: Hero Roulette (F2P achievable)

A counter-pick specialist designed to negate high-damage Gen 5 setups. Her kit is oriented toward disrupting the damage multipliers that make Gen 5 compositions (particularly Vivian-based rallies) so dangerous. In structured alliance war environments where you know enemy compositions in advance, Sophia adds real tactical utility. In unstructured PvP, Yang provides more consistent value.

What comes after Gen 6

Gen 7 is not yet confirmed. Based on the generation cadence (~80–100 days between each release), Gen 7 would arrive after server Day 380+ for most players.
